Your Superpower Should Be Mind Reading

You are brilliant, insightful, and intuitive.
You understand people better than they would like to be understood.
Highly sensitive, you are good at putting together seemingly irrelevant details.
You figure out what's going on before anyone knows that anything is going on!

Why you would be a good superhero: You don't care what people think, and you'd do whatever needed to be done

Your biggest problem as a superhero: Feeling even more isolated than you do now

Here is proof that I actually was skiing at Windham last week. I don't even look retarded, we should celebrate. Oh yeah, we just did: Happy New Year Everyone!

After 3 years of having a PC at home, I decided that the main computer in the house should be a Mac. We have two portable Macs, too: one PowerBook G4 and a MacBook Pro. but still my old PC just wasn't cutting it anymore. I had dual-boot: Linux and Windows but my Windows just started getting more and more finicky, until one day it just decided to crash. Now I cannot access it at all. I can't even wipe it, because Linux probably overtook the MBR (master boot record), so it would be a pain to repair it. At any rate, I cannot use FileMaker Pro under Linux, and it's been cumbersome to work on my old PowerBook. Though, have to admit, the convenience of being able to work from bed is a blessing.

So, let's welcome Mac Pro to the family! He's handsome, tall, sleek and fast as lightning. Now I just need to transfer all my important files and music.

But now I need to learn about the Standards of Practice for Investor Relations (homework).

When it comes to shows, I am not the first to take part in a conversation: simply because I don't watch them. However, I discovered several new shows this season that I love.

One of them is Heroes. I can't wait for the next one. Well, now I'm gonna have to wait till January for the next, because this season is over. But in January Rome will be back on TV, which is another excellent show.

I also found Dexter, which now I am addicted to.

And the best: you can actually download them on iTunes now.

I just did this silly "Art of Seduction" test online. It is actually smart and well written. Here's who I am:

I just found this picture in my phone. It's on Broadway at 50th Street. In Memoriam the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.
It's been awhile since I wrote again. Life takes a lot of energy out of me. I feel like I need more sleep than anyone, but it's a mere theory. Christina tends to sleep more – or at least she would like to. On the weekends I always wake up earlier. However, she is never ready to go to sleep when I am. It's just a fact. I do need to go to sleep earlier to be able to get to work on time! I've been trying to relay this with little or no luck.

Another news: we finally got a new bed: hard wood, one piece. It's pretty. Finally got our shelves up on the wall, new posters, etc. The living room looks really good now, and so does part of the bedroom. We're getting there. We also got a new coffee table.

I will have more photos soon.

So, my Linux (Fedora Core 5) has been functioning pretty well, in spite of the occasional hickups. Yet, I have to go back to Windows sometimes, because I have no FileMaker on Linux (and Christina's using my PowerBook), and other things, but it's rare.

Linux is a lot more functional. End of story.

I also upgraded the OS on my Nokia 770. Now I have Google Talk, so I can make voice calls for free from my tablet. It's absolutely amazing. I didn't even know that the thing had a microphone, cause I didn't need it before. Now I also have an alarm, the web browsing is almost as fast as on a computer, and still have the basic functions, like RSS Reader, email, etc.
