Back in the day, when everything was normal, I had my computer dual-boot: Windows and Linux (Fedore Core 3). So, when I started working for a consulting company last year, I had to learn Veritas backup software, which only runs on Windows Server. So, I had to create a new partition on my computer, and install Windows 2003 Server. Now, that, very fast, killed my Linux. So, since then I was only using Windows. Until yesterday, when I finally managed to reinstall my Linux - now Fedora Core 5 - and then my Windows won't boot. Then today, I managed to fix that, I got both booting. And then something happened and none of them would boot. I tried to fix grub with the help of a friend, however, that, in the end resulted in mambo-jumbo on the screen, as in unrecognizable characters, so now I'm reinstalling Fedora.

Underwater mp3 player
I was looking around for memory sticks for my Nokia 770 and my Sony Ericsson W810i, when I came across an underwater mp3 player.
Since then I can’t stop saying: “That’s just wrong!” pardon me, but if you can’t even escape into the depth of a swimming pool or the ocean without the disturbance of the electronic world, what comes next: The Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind???

Alright, so by popular demand, here I am writing. At 11:59, when I should really be sleeping.
I do have some interesting stuff, though:
One:
I started working for a small Investor Relations/PR firm in February downtown in the Wall Street area. I really like it. I do all kinds of computer-related work: equipment purchasing, server-maintenance, desktop installs and even design. I volunteered to lay down my boss' book and even designed a cover, in case she wanted to have a look. She loved it. She's amazing. A woman who set-up and single-handedly runs a company of now 25 (and growing) people, has time for two kids and even has a heart. She rewards her coworkers for good work with perks. She impresses me on a daily basis.
Two:
On Tuesday, Christina (my gf) woke up with a tummy ache...more specifically severe abdomen pain. Since she convinced me that we do not need to rush to the ER, I went to work. let me rephrase that: I made it to Port Authority, and I landed on my butt at the bottom of the stairs, as a result of my feet losing grip. You should see my bruise! My butt has a palm-long black spot on it. Anyway, so once I regained my ability to focus, I called in work, and told (no name) one of my coworkers that I fell down the stairs. He in return told me that they couldn't get to the server (boy, I love when they say that and God only knows what they mean), so I tried to ask him questions to get closer to the culprit of the problem and ended up asking him two things: 1) to tell the people in charge that I had fallen down the stairs and I'd be coming in late, 2) to restart the server. Do you think he did either of them?
So, later in the day, Christina's still suffering the same pain, and I mange to convince her to call a doctor and so she booked an appointment for 3:30. So, I left work at 3, met up with her at the doctor, who was a Swiss lady, apparently very attentive, smart and Christina immediately had an understandable “crush” on her. She directed us to a surgeon, who directed us to the Emergency Room, where we spent the rest of the evening getting a Cat Scan and waiting in anxiety whether she has to have her appendix removed. Turns out she probably had a ruptured cist in one of her ovaries. It was quite stressful and even though all the people we encountered along the way were courteous and even nice, we could hardly wait to get out. However, we took some pictures purely out of boredom.
